Aims and Objects of the Trust The Kisan Trust is founded on the conviction that India’s progress lies in the strength and dignity of its villages. The Trust seeks to uphold the values of justice, equity and self-reliance as envisioned by Bharat Ratna Chaudhary Charan Singh. Its fundamental aim is to educate rural citizens about their rights, promote grassroots awareness, and empower them to resist exploitation in all forms—economic, social or institutional. It works to foster unity among diverse rural communities, nurturing a collective identity based on mutual respect and shared purpose. Beyond immediate relief or short-term aid, the Trust believes in long-term transformation. It strives to build a just and inclusive rural economy where farmers, labourers, women and youth are equipped not just with services, but with a voice, dignity and decision-making power. True to its ethos, the Kisan Trust remains non-political, non-profit — grounded in grassroots realities and committed to building a more just and inclusive India.
